SLABFLEX® 300

Semi-Rigid Epoxy Joint Sealant & Crack Filler

SLABFLEX® 300 is a two-component, 100% solids, semi-rigid epoxy joint sealant and crack filler engineered to protect concrete joint edges and minimize deterioration caused by impact, traffic, and chemical exposure. It combines excellent adhesion with high elongation, delivering durability and flexibility not typically found in general-purpose epoxy materials.

Designed for demanding industrial and commercial environments, SLABFLEX® 300 reinforces concrete joints and cracks subjected to heavy foot traffic, forklift traffic, and chemical attack, including food acids.

SLABFLEX® 300 is available in multiple viscosities to accommodate a wide range of installation needs, including liquid, thixotropic, and paste grades.

Key Features & Benefits

  • 100% solids, two-component epoxy system
  • Semi-rigid formulation for joint edge protection
  • Excellent adhesion and elongation
  • Chemical and abrasion resistant
  • Reinforces concrete joint and crack edges
  • VOC compliant in all U.S. states and Canadian provinces
  • Cures to an inert finish
  • Suitable for new construction and resurfacing projects

Typical Applications

  • Control joints and crack filling in concrete floors
  • Concrete and polymer floor joint edge reinforcement
  • Detector wire loops for traffic signals, electric gates, and robotics
  • FAA P-606 runway sealant for wires and lights
  • Cove base mortar binder
  • Industrial and commercial flooring environments

Application Overview

SLABFLEX® 300 is mixed at a 2:1 ratio by volume and installed into properly prepared concrete joints or cracks. Coverage varies based on joint width, depth, and installation method. The material is designed to armor joint edges rather than function as a soft elastomeric sealant.

Pot life, cure time, and recoat windows vary depending on temperature and whether standard-cure or fast-cure versions are used. Light traffic is typically permitted within approximately 12 hours under standard conditions.

Limitations

  • Best suited for application temperatures between 60°F and 90°F (regular cure)
  • Do not apply when relative humidity exceeds recommended limits
  • Higher temperatures will reduce working time
  • Color may vary between batches; boxing material is recommended for color consistency
