You can apply this coating in aircraft hangars, automotive showrooms, commercial kitchens, laboratories, manufacturing facilities and warehouse floors. It also functions effectively as a clear or pigmented topcoat over decorative resinous flooring systems.
EASYFLO™ 85 integrates seamlessly as a topcoat for various decorative concrete coatings and chip flooring systems. It requires an appropriate primer when you apply it directly to bare concrete or cementitious overlays. Don’t apply this product when relative humidity exceeds 80 percent or when temperatures fall outside the 60 to 90 degree Fahrenheit range.
Installers must prepare the surface according to ICRI Guideline No. 310.2R and ensure the concrete pH is nine or above. Mix the two-part system using a low-speed drill with a Jiffy Mixer paddle for two minutes. Pour the mixed material in ribbons and use a flat or notched squeegee to spread it evenly across the substrate. Back roll and cross roll the material immediately to achieve a uniform finish. Clean all tools immediately with acetone after you finish the installation.
What is the working time for EASYFLO™ 85?
You typically have 45 to 60 minutes of usable working time. High temperatures or high humidity will dramatically shorten this pot life.
Can I apply this coating directly to bare concrete?
No, you must use a suitable primer when applying this product directly to concrete or cementitious overlays.
How long does it take for the floor to cure?
The floor is dry to the touch in five to seven hours. It accepts light traffic in 24 hours and full vehicle traffic after three days.
